Karl Macourek, a remarkable Viennese pianist, plays Wanhal’s clavier works, Capriccios G major Op. 15/1 and F major Op. 31/1 “Clementis & Silentis”, the military heroic piece “Die Schlacht bei Würzburg” and the characteristic Sonata “Die grosse Seeschlacht bei Abukir”.

These excellent compositions will be successively interpreted together with works of J. Haydn and L. van Beethoven in the Haydn’s Museum on the forthcoming October 6 and 20, 2013.
