Wanhal’s cantata Trauergesang bey dem Tode Joseph des Zweiten (Mourning Song by the Death of Joseph II) will receive its European premiere at the Geelvicnk Fortepiano Festical in Zutphen on 14 October. The piece will be performed by Fiona Tibbles (soprano) and James Tibbles (fortepiano). James will also perform Dittersdorf’s Ovid symphony in a four-handed piano arrangement, as well as pieces by Mozart, with Michael Tsalka.

The same concert will be held on 19 October in the Cromhouthuis in Amsterdam.
