On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of Wanhal’s death a privately formed Collegium Musicum (professional musicians as well as amateurs, mainly from Vienna) will perform a series of his works on September 28, 2013 at Jaroslavice Castle in Southern Moravia. Three symphonies (c2, D17, C14), the flute concerto in D, the violin concerto in B flat, the Missa pastoralis, the Te Deum as well as numerous chamber music works (divertimenti, notturno, string quartet, hautbois quartet, flute duets, bassoon trio, sonatas etc.) will be presented between 2 to 7 pm. Admission is free.
